We are honored to have you joining us for the 7th annual Northwest Yoga Conference.

To register for a session, simply click on the small circle before the title to ADD to your schedule, and you are enrolled. Your selections are automatically saved.  Please note, you must have a pass in order to register. 

Your schedule may be changed or modified as long as a session still has availability. Class registration closes on Monday, February 19 at 5pm, PST. If a class is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist.  The waitlist will only be maintained until online registration closes.  This means if you do not make it into the workshop by February 19th, you will need to select a different workshop.

Befriending Your Body Through Yoga
Limited Capacity seats available

Befriending Your Body through Yoga invites plus-size women of all (or none!) experience levels to enjoy this free session of community yoga. This class is based in the principles of the Befriending Your Body through Yoga series, a yoga series exclusively for plus-size women that Marcie teaches at Om Town Yoga in northeast Seattle and online. This practice will include breath work, meditation, and asana that gently reinforces self-compassion and self-acceptance. Practitioners will be guided through posture adaptations in order to choose which variation works best for their bodies on this day. The class will be taught in the Viniyoga tradition, which links breath with movement and which encourages adaptations that allow students of varying levels of experience, skill, or ability to practice and receive the benefits of yoga. Beginners are very welcome!

Practice Time: 1 hour
Physical Exertion: Low to Moderate
Recommended Props: mat, strap or non-stretchy belt, blanket or towel
